When is the event taking place?
Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal takes places on Friday 21th of November and on Saturday the 22th of November 2025. On Friday, the event site is opened from 23.00 – 06.00h. On Saturday, the event site is opened from 13.30 – 23.00h.

Until what time is the event entrance open?
On Friday, the entrance is opened from 23.00 until 03.00h. On Saturday, the entrance is opened from 13.30 until 20.00h. After this it won’t be possible to enter the event as the entrance will be closed.

Am I allowed to leave the event temporarily and come back later?
No, unfortunately this is not possible. After leaving Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal you can only re-enter the event with a new, unscanned ticket

From what age am I allowed to attend the event?
To visit Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal you have to be at least 18 years old. Your ID might be checked. If you aren’t able to show your ID it’s not possible to visit the event, unfortunately.

Do I pay at the event with tokens?
Yes, during Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal you can buy tokens at the venue; these are available at the cash registers and machines. You can exchange these tokens for consumptions at the bar and food trucks.

Can I pay at the event with card and/or cash?
During Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal it’s only possible to pay with PIN, payment with cash is not possible.

Are there lockers at the event?
Yes, there are lockers available for rent at Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal. In these, you can store your clothing and valuable items that you don’t want to carry around with you at all times. The lockers can be opened and closed endlessly. You can rent a locker online in advance or during the event at the locker desk. We advise you to rent a locker in advance, which means you don’t have to queue and wait at the event. The use of a locker is at own risk.

I lost my ticket for the event. What should I do?

This can happen of course. Check our inbox and spam box of your e-mail first to be sure. If you really can’t find it, check your bank account and look for the order number that is listed in the description of your payment. You can use this order number to find your tickets HERE on the website of Weeztix. 

Where do I buy my tickets for the event?

Tickets are available at the website of Soenda and the website of our ticket partner Eventix. We strongly advise you to only buy your ticket via the official presale addresses and via TicketSwap. The organization can only guarantee for these tickets to be valid and provide a service based on that.

What happens if the event is sold out?

We strongly advise you to buy your tickets via Ticketswap when Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal is sold out. Ticketswap is an official ticket partner. The organization advises against the purchase of tickets via a third party because the organization can’t guarantee that these tickets will be valid. The organization can only guarantee for these tickets to be valid and provide a service based on that.

Can my ticket be scanned on my phone?

Yes please! In order to do so please turn up the brightness of your phone to a 100% and keep your mobile ready.

We bought a group ticket for (event name), can I enter separately from the rest of the group?

Yes, a groupticket consists out of four separate pages. Every page has one ticket.

How does it work if I bought a locker online?

In case you’ve rented a locker online via our ticket shop you will receive an e-mail at 19.00h on the day before the event. In this e-mail you can find your locker number and the pin code of your locker. This means you don’t have to visit the locker desk at the event, you can look up your locker right away and use it. If you haven’t received a locker number and pin code, please contact Lockerbox via tickets@lockerbox.nl or visit the service desk at the event with your proof of purchase. 

How does it work if I bought a parking ticket online?

If you have purchased a parking ticket online, show it to the parking attendant. You can show either a printed copy or a copy on your phone. Once your ticket has been scanned and validated, you may enter the car park and park your car.

How does it work if I bought a bus ticket online?

In case you’ve bought a bus ticket online you can show this at the bus, you can use a printed ticket or your mobile. After your ticket is scanned and valid you will receive a hardcopy ticket for the bus. You can use this ticket to enter the bus.

Do I need to keep my bus ticket for the return trip?

Yes, you have to be able to show your hardcopy ticket for the return travel as well. Only upon presentation of your hardcopy ticket you can re-enter the bus. If you’ve lost your ticket, you can buy a one-way ticket at the bus for €5,- PLEASE NOTE: In the bus it’s only possible to pay with PIN.

Is there a shuttle bus to and from the event?
Yes, during Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal there is a shuttle bus available for transportation.

From where to where does the shuttle bus run?
During Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal, the shuttle bus runs between Utrecht Central Station and the festival site. At Utrecht Central Station, walk towards Jaarbeursplein. When you exit the station hall, continue straight ahead (towards the Jaarbeurs). Here, take the stairs on the left down. At the bottom of the stairs, turn immediately left (180 degrees). The shuttle buses are located at the end of the covered passageway. At the festival, the bus departs in the evening from the same location where it dropped you off in the afternoon. If you do not remember where that was, follow the signs for “pendelbus” from the festival.

Between what times does the shuttle bus operate?
On Friday the shuttle bus will drive from 22.30 (Utrecht central station) until the last visitor has left the venue which is around 07.00h. On Saturday the shuttle bus will drive from 13.00 (Utrecht central station) until the last visitor has left the venue which is around 00.00h. During these time windows the shuttle bus will drive in both directions.

How often does the shuttle bus run?
During Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal the shuttle bus drives constantly. There’s a bus departing every few minutes. If you want to take to bus at a busy time this could mean that you have to wait for a bit. This will hardly ever be more than 20 minutes.

How much does a shuttle bus ticket cost and where can I buy it?
It is best to buy your shuttle bus ticket online. A return ticket costs €8,- ex. Ticket fee. At the bus a return ticket can be bought for €10. For the way back only, one-way tickets are available for €5 per piece. PLEASE NOTE: you can only pay with PIN!

How does it work if you bought a bus ticket online?
In case you’ve bought a bus ticket online you can show this at the bus, you can use a printed ticket or your mobile. After your ticket is scanned and valid you will receive a hardcopy ticket for the bus. You can use this ticket to enter the bus.

Can I also buy a single ticket?
Yes, but you can only buy a one-way ticket on the way back. These tickets cost €5 and are available at the bus. PLEASE NOTE: In the bus it’s only possible to pay with PIN.

Are there buses from other cities to the event?
No, during Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal, there are no buses running from other cities.

Can I come to the event with a self-organized tour bus?
Yes, this is possible. Please note that is obligatory to register your bus at the organization. You can do so by sending an e-mail to info@elevation-events.com. You will then receive a registration form and instructions for you as the organizer and the bus company where you’ve rented the bus.

Where can I have the self-organized tour bus drop us off and pick us up in the evening?
This information is described extensively in the instructions you will received after the registration of your tour bus. ‘Gietijzerstraat, Utrecht’ can be used as navigation address. From there the bus driver has to follow the signs that say ‘Kiss and ride’ and follow the instructions of the traffic wardens.

Is it possible to park the self-organized tour bus at the event for a longer period?
No, unfortunately this is not possible due to lack of space at Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal. Tour buses have to leave immediately after the visitors have gotten off the bus. After being completed after the event tour buses also have to leave immediately. Please keep our neighbors in mind when boarding the bus and make sure that the bus driver turns off the engine and music while waiting.

Can I come to the festival by bicycle, scooter, or moped?
Yes, you can travel to Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal by bicycle, scooter or moped – we even encourage this!

Where is the bicycle parking located?
Navigate to Tractieweg 41, if you’re travelling by bicycle, scooter or moped. Follow the signs with ‘Fietsenstalling’ and follow the instructions of the traffic wardens.

Is the bicycle parking monitored?
No, the bicycle parking area is not guarded, but it is supervised.

Can I lock my bicycle to the bike rack?
No, never lock your bicycle to the bicycle rack. 

Is the bicycle parking free of charge?
Yes, you don't have to pay for bicycle parking. We encourage you to come by bicycle!

Can I walk to the festival?

Yes, this is possible and we even encourage this as well! Navigate to Tractieweg 41, if you’re travelling by foot. Follow the signs with ‘Voetganger’ and follow the instructions of the traffic wardens.

Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal is een evenement gericht op elektronische muziek met lokale, regionale en nationale aantrekkingskracht, dat door ongeveer 6.000 bezoekers van 18 jaar en ouder wordt bezocht.

Visitors come to the event for the performances of national and international artists. At Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal there’s both room for young, local talent as for the international established names. Next to the various performances there’s also room for food trucks with delicious food, there are installations of artists and architects that can be admired and there are spectacular decors and lightshows to be seen.

De organisatie uit Utrecht is opgericht in 2009 en is betrokken bij de ontwikkeling en organisatie van evenementen, van concept tot uitvoering. Met hun creatieve en vernieuwende concepten dragen zij bij aan het aantrekkelijke evenementenaanbod voor jongvolwassenen in Utrecht en omgeving.

Hoe komen bezoekers naar Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal?
Bezoekers reizen op verschillende manieren naar het evenement. Via de website en social media worden bezoekers geadviseerd en gestimuleerd om met de fiets of het openbaar vervoer te komen. Een groot deel van de bezoekers komt uit de omgeving, daarom wordt er een fietsenstalling ingericht bij de Werkspoorkathedraal.

Kan ik gedurende de periode dat Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal en de op- en afbouw daarvan plaatsvindt gewoon gebruikmaken van (naam gebied)?
Ja, alle wegen blijven beschikbaar voor regulier verkeer.ic.

Wordt het OV omgeleid gedurende de afsluitingen rondom Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal?
Het openbaar vervoer rijdt normaal, ook tijdens de afsluitingen, en krijgt toegang bij de verkeersposten.
Alle bedrijven rondom de Werkspoorkathedraal zijn op vrijdag en zaterdag geopend zoals gebruikelijk. Raadpleeg de websites van de bedrijven voor actuele openingstijden.


Op welke dagen/tijden mag er geluid worden geproduceerd?
Op vrijdag 21 november is het toegestaan geluid te produceren tussen 23.00 en 06.00 uur en op zaterdag 22 november tussen 13.30 en 23.00 uur. Voorafgaand aan het evenement (vrijdag 21 november) mag geluid worden geproduceerd tussen 16.00 en 23.00 uur (maximaal 2 uur) en op zaterdag (22 november) van 12.30 tot 13.30 uur voor soundchecks.

Worden er metingen en controles op het gebied van geluid verricht?
De afspraken over geluidsnormen zijn vastgesteld door de gemeente Utrecht. Een gespecialiseerd bureau plaatst verschillende meetpunten in het gebied van de locatie namens de organisatie. Daarnaast kan de organisatie zelf metingen uitvoeren op andere locaties, inclusief meetpunten op de podia, zodat het geluid nauwkeurig kan worden aangepast. De Omgevingsdienst Regio Utrecht controleert namens de gemeente ook het geluid.

Wat doet de organisatie aan het beperken van de geluidsoverlast?
Voorafgaand aan het evenement stelt een geluidsdeskundige een geluidsplan op om in de voorbereidingsfase mogelijke overlast te beperken. Het geluid wordt gericht op de locaties met de minste omwonenden en er worden geavanceerde geluidsinstallaties gebruikt die geluid aan de achterkant van de speakers dempen. Hierdoor blijft overlast buiten de evenementlocatie zo beperkt mogelijk.

Ik heb toch last van geluidsoverlast, wat kan ik doen?
Hoewel de organisatie veel aandacht besteedt aan het beperken van geluidsoverlast, zijn er externe factoren zoals het weer die invloed kunnen hebben. Wind, afkoeling van de lucht en hoge luchtvochtigheid kunnen geluid verder dragen. Geluidsniveaus worden gedurende de dag opgebouwd.

Wordt het afval dat wordt veroorzaakt door het festival opgeruimd?
De organisatie is verplicht de Werkspoorkathedraal en directe omgeving schoon achter te laten. Een gespecialiseerd schoonmaakbedrijf zorgt tijdens en na het evenement voor opruiming van de locatie en omliggende gebieden.

Doet Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal iets aan duurzaamheid?
Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal en de organisatie zetten zich in voor duurzaamheid en creëren hiermee een betere, schonere en meer sociale wereld. Met het “Local Legacy Program” wordt bijvoorbeeld geld ingezameld bij bezoekers van de gastenlijst en geïnvesteerd in duurzame projecten, zoals een 500m² bijenoase bij de Soenda Festival-locatie. Wat wordt er gedaan op het gebied van veiligheid?
Veiligheid:

De organisatie beschikt over een eigen veiligheidsorganisatie bestaande uit:

Specialisten in crowd management;

Medisch personeel;

Mobiliteitsexperts;

Beveiligingspersoneel;

Redders;

Brandveiligheidsadviseurs.

Samen met externe partijen zoals de gemeente Utrecht, GHOR, brandweer en Veiligheidsregio Utrecht wordt een veiligheidsplan opgesteld.

Are there house rules in effect during the event?
Yes, to make sure Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal will be fun we’ve drawn up a number of house rules. What am I allowed and not allowed to bring to the event?
A number of items isn’t allowed to keep Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal safe and fun, i.e., glass items, plastic bottles, water bags, canned items, fireworks, nitrous oxide cartridges, spraying cans, drones, umbrella’s, selfie sticks and other – subject to the judgement of the staff – disturbing or dangerous items too as drugs, (fire)weapons and /or other dangerous objects or fabrics, food, (alcoholic) drinks and/or pets (with the exception of service dogs or similar). You will be denied entry to the venue and the police will be notified if prohibited items are found on you.

Can I bring a bag to the event?
Yes, small bags are allowed. However, it is strongly advised to bring only essential items to the event. Large bags are discouraged, also because the locker have a limited size which means large bags/suitcases can’t be stored.

Can I bring my camera or video camera to the event?
This depends on the camera. Small, non-professional cameras and phones are allowed, but only if the recordings are for personal use – the publication of these images is prohibited. Professional photo- and film equipment can only be brought inside if you are in position of a press accreditation.

Can I bring my e-bike battery inside to store it safely?
No, unfortunately this is not possible due to safety reasons. In case you cannot safely store your battery to your bike, we strongly advise you to visit the festival without the battery attached to the bicycle. Furthermore, there are no possibilities to charge batteries at Soenda Indoor WSK.

Is drugs allowed at the event?
No, drugs are not allowed just like everywhere else in The Netherlands. Drugs that are condoned in The Netherlands are also prohibited at Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal. Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal has a zero-tolerance policy in the field of drugs. In the detection of drugs, you will be denied entry to the event/you will be removed from the event and the police will be informed.

Are there dress codes at the event?
No, there is no specific dress code but a neat appearance is required. The wearing of a football shirt and/or discriminating and/or other offensive clothing, as well as face-covering clothing is not allowed at least.

I want to advertise or sell something at or around this event, is that allowed?
No, without written consent it is prohibited for any third party to promote/advertise and/or sell goods/services, like nitrous oxide and/or food at or around Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal.

Is smoking and vaping allowed at the event?
Yes, smoking is allowed at Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal but only outside, in the smoking area. It is also prohibited to smoke underneath the tent. Whilst smoking outside, keep your fellow visitors in mind and always dispose your cigarettes in a bin.

Can I bring my e-cigarette and its liquids to the event?
Yes, you may bring in one E-cigarette to Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal. The accompanying liquid can only be brought inside if the package is new and sealed (maximum of 1 package per visitor). The smoking of an E-cigarette is only allowed at the uncovered areas, just like the smoking of a regular cigarette.

Can I bring my pet to the event?
No, pets are not allowed at Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal (with the exception of service dogs or similar).

How does the access control work at the event?
Whilst entering Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal you will be requested to cooperate with a voluntary visitation of yourself and the items you’re carrying. You always have the possibility to choose a security staff member of your own gender for the visitation. Make sure to pick the right queue in order to do so. If you don’t want to be searched, we can’t let you enter the event venue unfortunately.

For partying:
Make sure you don’t bring any valuable items/leave any valuable items in your care and watch out for pickpockets. Follow the instructions of our safety staff at all times. Let the people back at home know that you’re okay with a SMS in case of an unusual situation

Sexual harassment:
Sexual violence or sexual harassment are not tolerated at Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal in any way. In case you feel harassed or threatened: please report this at the organization. You can do so at all the security or first-aid staff members. They will aid you and contact a superior from the organization who can further help you. All the security staff members have followed a course and know how to handle the situation. There are female security staff members present as well. At the first aid post there are professionals you can aid you. You can also report the situation online. Sen dan e-mail to info@elevation-events.com (this address isn’t monitored permanently). In case of transgressive behavior, you can also file a report with the police. The organization can assist you with this if wanted. Obviously, all notifications are treated confidentially. Use of alcohol and drugs:
It’s well known that there are risks to the use of alcohol and/or drugs. But be extra careful when using alcohol and drugs at a temperature above 20 degrees Celsius. Alcohol and drugs increase the body temperature. So, if you’re dancing for a long period and drink too little the risk of overheating increases. Make sure to drink plenty of water but also not too much: 1 or 2 glasses per hour maximum. If you drink too much water in a short period there’s also the risk of water poisoning. If someone dies when using alcohol/drugs this is usually caused by overheating or water poisoning due to alcohol/drugs. So be extra careful and make sure to cool yourself down every now and then. Look out for each other and don’t leave each other’s side. Make sure to test your drugs before you visit the event, you can’t do this at the event itself. Hearing protection:
Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal supports the ‘I Love My Ears’ campaign because we find it important that you will be able to enjoy good music not just now but also in 20 years from now. You should take good care of your ears because of this. You can find a number of useful and handy tips at www.ilovemyears.nl on how to protect your ears as good as possible whilst still enjoying music. There are earplugs available at all the bars at Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal.

Medical assistance:
Visit the first aid post if you or one of your friends is not feeling well. Don’t be scared to tell them about your use of alcohol or drugs: the better you inform them about the situation, the better they are able to help you. The medical confidentiality is applicable here as well which means we won’t press charges, so feel free to share.

After partying?
Forced and unsafe sex are more common when people are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Respect one another and check out www.sense.info/soas for more information on unsafe sex. Next to this, the use of alcohol and drugs can result in concentration impaired and a lower responsiveness rate which causes you to be a danger to yourself and other road users. Make sure to stop on time and to adjust your transportation to this. And don’t forget to drink water or isotone drinks to replenish your fluids before you go to sleep.

Where can I park at the event?
Enter ‘Gietijzerstraat, Utrecht’ as navigation address if you’re travelling by car. After seeing the first sign follow the remaining signs and the instructions of the traffic wardens.

How does it work if I bought a parking ticket online?
Parking at the event is for free. However, we strongly recommend to visit the event by bike or public transport due to the limited amount of parking space.
 

Can I use a taxi?
Yes, during Soenda Indoor Werkspoorkathedraal there’s special taxi stand where taxis can drop you off and pick you up later on.

Where can a taxi drop me off?
Let the taxi driver use ‘Gietijzerstraat, Utrecht’ as navigation address if you’re travelling by taxi. After seeing the first sign follow the signs with ‘Taxi’ and follow the instructions of the traffic wardens.

Where can a taxi pick me up?
It’s not necessary to order a taxi if you want to go home because there will be plenty of taxis available at the taxi stand at the event. To get to the taxi stand you have to follow the signs with ‘Taxi’ from the event. There will only be official taxis with the right permits at the taxi stand. If you’ve ordered a taxi or Uber yourself after all then this taxi will be waiting for you at the Kiss & Ride. This because ordered taxis aren’t allowed to wait at the taxi stand.

Where can a pre-booked taxi pick me up?
Ordered taxis and Uber’s are referred to the Kiss & Ride. They will be waiting for you over there.

Is the taxi stand free of charge?
Yes, taxis aren’t charged to drop you off or pick you up at the event.

Can I use pre-booked transport?
